Swordtember 2023

All swords were painted in Krita. No AI was used for these illustrations! Some effects were achieved with the use of Krita's G'MIC filters.
1. Axis - A superdimensional blade used to strike down cosmic beasts beyond comprehension
2. Malum Cerebrum - A curious weapon forged from a fallen warrior's brain
3. Obitus - Unstable. Volatile. Fatal.
4. Verus Ficta - The hilt calculates thousands of potential swords, then generates the space where they all exist simultaneously.
5. Clara Flos - A fairy's delicate rapier, used to beguile as much as to wound
6. Kale - A wretched weapon, cruel beyond measure
7. Bad Hair Day - Ken finally snapped.
8. Épée II - The gold standard for duels during Renaissance 2
9. Lux Aeterna - A legendary sword wielded by a mythical knight with a candle for a head
10. Quid Heck - The warlock who created this sword got something terribly wrong.
11. Arx Ferrum - Early Quasar Knights used these defensive broadswords to break tankapult sieges.
12. Starsong - When the need arises, Arch-Singers have the power to re-align entire solar systems into weapons
13. Basilisk - A heavy blade belonging to a mysterious bounty hunter
14. Poor Toby - Medusa must've REALLY disliked this kid.
15. Pulchra Bestia - A dark wizard forged this hateful weapon from the horn of an elder unicorn.
16. Bug Bone Chopper - The lower-ranking bugknights of Iorn build their rusty sabers from whatever scraps they can find.
17. Dulcis Doloris - The weapon of choice for renowned Anthophilamancer, Daphine
18. Anima Situla - An unwilling soul bound into the blade makes its sting much nastier
19. Ignis Volant - A mad contraption that can harness small comets for use as short-lived, but devastating blades
20. Integer - Its edge is so sharp, it approaches the second dimension.
21. A terrifying entity. The Black Moth has a will of its own, but is clearly an accessory to a larger, unknown being...
22. Captum Caelum - A mad wizard tried to bind an entire universe into this glass greatsword.
23. Bamboozian Saber Blade - You know the Bamboozian Highwaymen are onto you when you hear the mewling of their sabers.
24. Calix Sanguinis - A sword of unknown origin and power recovered from a king's long lost tomb
25. Crux Lucis - The Witch Knight Bellen carried two swords. A simple rapier to destroy humans, and Crux Lucis to destroy monsters.
26. Anathema - A wretched weapon forged from forbidden geometry and the clogs of a thousand drains
27. The Prism Blade - An unnamed dimensional superweapon once wielded by the first Council of Archwizards to banish all demons from the realm
28. Volnus Citri - The worst part isn't the cut; it's the juice that comes after.
29. Silken Shears - A creepy assassin had these poison-coated shortblades forged to commemorate their victory over a really big spider.
30. Gourd's Ruin - As effective at carving through flesh, bone, and soul as it is through pumpkins
